Do you think it would be a fashion 'faux pas' to wear Burberry rain boots while carrying a Burberry bag?

Too much or no?

For the rest of the outfit I'm thinking Armani|Exchange blue jeans. (skinny jean) white sweater, with a black pea coat. (that ends right at the waist) finished with a red scarf.

That sounds like a cute outfit, but a little too matchy matchy. But who cares, that is part of what fashion is about - if you think it's cute, wear it.

but they appear to be a diff shade than the purse


i think purse matching boots perfectly is a major fauz pas


a better way to match is wearing


eg


green heels with a white purse with green straps


its not like wearing lime green heels with a lime green purse


in other words,


either the purse or the bag, both are cute

Reply:I think without the red scarf it would be fine. If it was some sort of Burberry poncho with the boots or bag... then that's a different story.
