How to protect the PC during monsoon?

I want to know how can i protect my PC from excessive moisture in the atmosphere during monsoon. My monitor boots up showing a very dark background color , but returns to normal color after around 10 minutes. I guess this is because of excessive moisture %26amp; i have been facing this problem ever since Sunday when it rained heavily here on Saturday in Mumbai.

How to protect the PC during monsoon?
You could place some dessicant pads inside the PC as wells as the monitor - if it is a CRT. This would absorb moisture. Also, cover the PC and monitor during 100% humidity conditions when the PC is not in use.

Keeping the PC in a room with air coniditioning would be ideal, if you have that option.

Reply:Try getting a dehumidifier! It will help with the moisture, and try to keep your components inside the tower from getting too much moisture by keeping it running constantly until the moisture comes down.
Reply:May be you need to change it
