Can UGG boots get destroyed from the rain?

My friend crashed at my house last night and left her UGGs on my porch. It rained last night and now they are soaked. Can they be saved??

Can UGG boots get destroyed from the rain?
well they dont get totally ruined but they do get less soft and change color a bit. Theres really nothing you can do but my uggs have gotten wet a ton of times and theyre not so bad
Reply:probably not unless they have a spray that she sprayed on them to protect them.
Reply:Yeah. her Ugg's should be fine. I own a pair, and whenever I leave them outside, I just have to rinse them off again after they dried. If the boots are dirty, then buy a bottle of the UGG cleaner from Nordstrom and scrub, the boots should turn out like new.
Reply:sued usualy jsut gets a shade darker from water, just try putting them in the dryer, or near a heater/fire place so they can dry out.
Reply:yus, yus dey can... i walkd home once in the rain n now der ttly marked n staind, so annoying!
Reply:Unless she used the special UGG spray on them... no!
Reply:mine have done the same!! i went walking in the pouring rain yesterday (not out of my own will, there was a sudden downpour before i got home) and my uggs got completely drenched! the suede has gone really funny and not as soft, let me know if you find a way to get back to normal :]
