How do I wear these rain boots?

I like these rain boots, and would love to wear them in Japan during the rainy season in a resort town....but I don't know what to wear them with. They are called mystical rain boots, and they are from payless.

I thought they would look great with skinny jean, but now Im not so sure. What would you wear them with?

skinny jeans are nice, but for that really japan retro look, a pair of leggings.

Reply:Skinny jean or to the knee plain pencil skirt. A peasant skirt would be cute too, but if these are plaid boots, then a solid color definitely
Reply:i would wear them with a skirt, they're wellies after all! they'll go with anything, but in the UK we generally wear them in mud and stuff, and we have green ones!

Reply:A black mini bubble skirt with a brown or grayish white tank top with a black cropped jacket and a matching umbrella *(plus i like the skinny jean idea)
Reply:That would look good with a trench coat. Not the plastic ones though. And I guess any shirt. Although I hate skinny jeans (with a passion haha), they wouldn't look bad with these boots.
